Default indcator bulbs not turnning off

i turn off the key and the dash indicator bulbs are still lit...
with key completely out of the ignition they are still on..


any ideas?

nope headlights and dash lights go off.. just the indicator bulbs stay on

That is odd. Could be an issue with the relay getting stuck on.

That is very odd. I bet the ignition switch went bad. You also still have power to the gas and temp gauges. You can get the switch here.

What is that toggle switch for?
But yes it might be the ignition switch.

toggle switch i was told wnt to the foglights that are not on it anymore.. switching it does nothing

i prdered a new ignition switch well see if that helps..

on a positive note.. i left the car sitting with those lights on for 16 hours and it still started so i guess it not to much of a drain on the battery

Is the headlight switch in either the most right or left position?
If not turn it to one of them. If it is in the middle they will stay on all the time as well as the parking lights.

doesnt matter what position they always stay on...



**** i just replaced the Ignition switch..

I DID NOT HELP.

i mean it fixed teh shifting problem and all so thats good..

biut the lights are still on!

If you unplug the headlight switch do they go out?
You might want to try that maybe the switch is bad.

called 103974 deallerships and found one that told me the answer...

TURN SIGNAL BULB is out.. which it is.. weird..
