Yes weird never seen that.

 

Let us know if that fixes it. That would be a surprise. I think there is a short somewhere.

 

well just put the turn signal socket in..

called another dealer

he said bad alternator even though it is a new one..

he said unplug the little red wire to the alternator..

i did...
all but the oil and abs lights went out

 

Maybe now start pulling fuses to see exactly what circuit it is on.

 

Maybe something shorted out. I would pull the instrument cluster, see if you can find a loose wire or one that is shorted. It has to be something between the ignition and instrument cluster. It may be a bad instrument cluster or relay.

Maybe tech is on to something (usually is). Hook the wire on the alternator back up, then start pulling relays, one at a time till the lights go out.

 

ive pulled every fuse in the fuse box under the hood.. nothing turned them off


ill try relays next
