info on brake pedal sensor...

Hi guys, just wondering what does the brake pedal sensor do? where is it located? what would be some of the symptoms of it going bad? how can i test to see if it is good? thanks

Usually if it goes bad it will set a code. It just tells the ECU where the brake pedal is in a position.

I had a faulty pedal sensor, easy fix. If you read through this thread it shows how I went about fixing it.
