Tech, don't know if you remember or not, but I have had this creaking noise when I hit a bump and only turn right. I can feel it on the floor under my foot by the foot rest. Could this be the inner tie rod. We have spoken about this tie rod recently. The passenger side is wearing tires twice as fast as the driver side and I can feel that wonder of the wheel when driving straight. Just wondering if the noise is typical with this problem.

 

Are the sway bar links and upper spring seats good?

It could be the inner but you should feel play in it if it is bad.

 

I am going to replace the sway bar bushings this week b/c they only cost $7 a piece. I replaced the upper rubber spring seat and top plate a couple months ago. There is play in the passenger tie rod, but could that cause the noise? I have to wait a week or two do replace the tie rod

 

It could be it and it is travelling across the rack.
