interchangeable parts?
#2
Welcome to the forum.
1. What year and model 850 do you own?
a. N/A (Naturally Aspirated = No turbo)
b. Turboed (Turbo,T5,R)
2. If your N/A I wouldn't even bother. Your not going to gain much of anything from any parts from another Volvo. Even with aftermarket parts your not going to gain much of anything and you'll spend more money then what you'll get out of the parts. Sell if your N/A and buy a Turbo model if you have an N/A right now.
3. If your turboed the answer is YES. However we can better help you to know again what year and model turboed Volvo you have. Because that can help us tell you what parts will fit.

Really there's only a few parts from other Volvos that can bolt on to an 850 for performance reasons, most of which involve some sort of modifications (this is all assuming you have a turbo).
Any TD04HL turbo (13g,15g,16t,18t,19t), Japan manifold, R manifold, NA/960 TB, NA cams, M56H/L, KKK K24 (custom DP).
I think that's really about it regarding swapping of Volvo parts for performance gains.
