Are my 2 ton jack stands strong enough for Volvo or I need stronger? Maybe it is stupid question but better safe than sorry. I used them before but my friend thinks I should use stronger.

nah those will be fine. the TOTAL car weighs less than 4,000 lbs total. and 4,000 lbs is 2 ton. so if you have 2, 2 ton jack stands that is a total of 8,000 lbs of protection.

in English, i use 2 ton jack stands and im living.

 

I had my Mustang up on 4 2 ton jackstands for months while doing a motor swap and other things and it held up fine. It also went through a hurricane on the stands.

Also it was not the 4 cylinder mustang either it is the 5.0 V-8.

tech,i want your stang.i grew up with a 89 lx 5.0...my uncle still has it sitting in the driveway...my eyes are tearing up thinking about it...

 

LOL mine is a 87 Lx Coupe. Hopefully soon I will get working on it again and start driving it.
