keyless entry question
When i purchased my 94 850 turbo it didnt come with the key fob for the factory installed keyless entry. I found the PO had pulled the fuse that operates it and i found out why. The car will lock by itself. It does it when opening the door, shutting the door, shutting the trunk, just about anytime. It doesnt do it everytime. I think it has to do with a vibration.
I got the correct key fob for it and got it programmed but, it will only unlock the doors. I put a new battery in the key fob and took it up to autozone and checked it with there keyless entry tester and it shows the fob is working when i press the lock and unlock buttons. I took the key fob apart and didnt see any problems with the soldering.
the central locking works fine with the key. My light on the dash comes on and then begins to flash.
Basically... im having problems with the "lock" side of the system. Any ideas where to look next ???

The locking system is pretty cool. Inside each actuator is a switch, that switch when thrown sends a lock or unlock signal to all the other actuators and they respond by locking or unlocking. If I had to guess, which I am doing, I would say its a failed actuator that is stuck in the lock position. The problem you have is which one is it.
Is this a wagon?
