That looks sweet, very nice indeed, cover like that would look nice on my red T5, and congrats on the job, Especially if they have a volvo code reader for the SRS and mileage reading. The only thing that would make your job better as a volvo driver is if there was a scrap yard between home and work.

Default prepping cover for paint

1. wash with the hottest water and grease cutting dish soap you can stand without boiling it
2.sand with 600 grit wet dry
3.wash again with same but put soap on first and let stand for about 5 min - then scrub with nail brush or other semi stiff bristle brush
4.rinse very well and shake off excess water - try not to touch painting surface with fingers - if you do paint wont stick
5. two coats of primer let dry over night
6. lightly sand with 800 grit wet dry rinse well and pat dry with lint free towel or (this part is risky)put it in the dish washer on dry cycle for 30 min
it has to be totally dry
7.then paint the way you want it
WHEN I FINISHED MINE I BAKED IT IN THE OVEN ON WARM FOR ALMOST 1 HOUR I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE A SPARE !!!!!!!!
IF YOU DO THE OVEN BAKE AND MESS UP IM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR IT - I JUST SAID IT WAS THE WAY I DID MINE
