Lag of power below 3000 RPM, please help!
Hi guys,
I have got my 95 T5 wagon 155k (from ECU) for about 5 months and have done jobs that i hope will bring this car to a good stage 0. PCV system, new plugs, new filter, new fuel filter, all new vacumm lines, no leaks, intercooler flush, flush ATF, Seafoam.. No code!, idle normal.
The car is running nice when it floats on the freeway at around 3000 rpm, gear shifts down and car pulls very nice and harder when reach 4000 rpm. For some reason driving in city is alot different, car feels lag of power, engine trying harder to accelerate, need kick down for most of easy passing, boost comes normal, hit 3 psi very quick but car just doesnt pull untill 3000 rpm, you will feel turbo is working then at 4000 rpm above it pulls very hard, tries go free spin if street surface is not completly dry.
I know car is old and heavy but it's way different from driving T5 sedan. I always drive in city and need alot of stop and go, quick paasing. What else would you guys think i should try before selling and look for a sedan?
Thanks su much

Look at all your vacuum lines 1st. Could be Bypass Valve is sluggish. I am new to this as well but depending on where you live it might just be the heat and city driving. It has not got below 90 degrees during the day in ATL. for months. It is also extremly Humid. Humdity kills turbo cars.
