I am trying to Install an aftermarket Alarm into my 94 Volvo 850, and I'm having a hell of a time.

Can anyone tell me whether the locking system on my 850 is positive triggered or negative triggered, and/or what color the wires are?

Also if anyone knows what color the wires are for the door triggers, that could be helpful too.

I have a wiring schematic, but I am new to this and I can't follow it in the slightst

 

For the lock portion it might be easier to just install a single lock actuator in the drivers door.
Your car has single stage locking which works off the main drivers door. When that one is unlocked the rest unlock.
Anyway you can post a pic of the diagram you have?
