I am trying to find where I can get a parts list or diagram for the trunk components on my 1996 volvo 850R. What I am looking for is the lens and screws for the license plate light by the handle for the trunck and for the rubber bump stops so when you close the trunk it is not metal on metal. Also one of my seat belt buckles red push to release button broke apart and dont know where to find that also. I have been searching for a while and have had no luck, everyone list pretty much everything else but those type of parts. Thanks !!

 

I dont know where you can get a complete list, but Id go to fcpgroton.com for your parts. they probably have everything you need and their prices are MUCH better than the stealership.

You may want to go to the dealership's partd dept though and see if you can get a printout of the parts. If you're nice to them, they'll give you those sometimes.

 

I checked on FCP Groton's website and they have nothing listed. I found the license plate light covers on EBAY for $ 15.00. Maybe I don't know the technical name but I think they are called bump stops and they are a small square made of rubber and there should be two of them on the inside of the trunk ?

 

Id check for you, but I have a wagon. I'd think you could find what you were looking for at lowes, honestly. Just find another 850 sedan and look at the bumpers and find a similar size rubber plug and screw it in place.

Some parts can only be had at junk yards and the stealer. It's a good idea to find a dealer with good prices, they do vary a lot.
