Default mechanical oil pressure gauge

I was curious, where does one hook into the block for a mechanical oil pressure gauge? I've located the factory sender and removed it but the threads are something different and has a washer under it. SO....... it leaves me wondering .... is there somewhere else to tap into the oil galley or is there someone thaat manufactures some type of adapter?

Any help is appreciated as I would really like to know what (if any) oil pressure the car is running.

Thanks

I guess your car is non-turbo, i.e. no oil cooler lines, thermostat, etc... I would take out the OEM sender, match the threads with a T, and install both, OEM sender and aftermarket on the T.

No, mine is a turbo. But that is what I was asking, is there a fitting that matches the threads of the sender yet has 1/8 in pipe threads for a mechanical fitting.
