Hi,

I parked my 850 turbo for about 3 months and now it will not start. No Spark. My mechanic has switched out all of the ignition parts with another car and it still wouldn't start (the other car ran fine with my parts in it). We thought it may have been the alarm but after repairing a non functioning hood latch the alarm seems to work fine. Its possible a chipmunk ran amuck but neither of us could find anything munched in the wiring. Stumped, any ideas?

 

What exactly happens?
What is missing spark only?
Injector pulse?
Did he swap the cam sensor?

 

Are there any codes in the computer?

I am not a mechanic but I will do my best. The car was fine, then it sat for a couple months and was not fine. The car turns over and fuel is present. There is no spark though. He changed the cam sensor first, then every other ignition part (don't worry theres a parts car). The car the parts came out of received my parts and ran fine. He changed out the computer......I got the alarm working to rule that out.
