I just don't understand why my hood is so hard to open to other people. The 850 has a hood release like the old Benzes where it sticks out of the grill when you pull the hood lever. Nobody ever seems to notice it and immediately grabs their hands under the hood to find the release. Just so happens the twin horns are right under there and they always bent the horn brackets to where the horns stick out in different directions! > This has happened numerous times like at AutoZone, Sam's Club, and at the Volvo dealership as well!!! Just feel mad right now.

 

the best advice i can give you is to 1) open it yourself 2) explain to whoever is opening it how it opens or 3) move to a place with less ignorant people.

 

You can always sharpen the edges of the horns so that it bites whomever does it wrong.

I always wondered why so many 850's have chipped up horns.
