Name that Hose! (w/ giant pictures)

Bypass hose? Heater hose? Intercooler hose? I honestly have no idea what kind of hose this is, hence the posting.
What I do know is that it's the most likely culprit for dumping the bulk of my radiator in a parking lot and forcing me to limp it to a friend's house with the capability to get it up in the air to see what the problem was.
The problem is that there was a hose right around the Turbo that had a small, almost slice looking tear. The problem here is that the hose has one end that's bigger than the other one. It's got a nice "almost" 90* bend in it, too. Both of these make finding a replacement a huge pain. I intend on going to the dealership tomorrow morning, but I figured I would ask what the forum thought this hose was first.
On this last picture, is that a part number or just something meaningless to me in my quest for answers that is pressed into the hose?
Thank you in advance.

Oh it dumped some coolant all over the place. It was located right behind the turbo and in front of the firewall. My mechanic buddy thought it was a bypass hose. I can't find it in my Chilton book. Auto-Zone, Advance Auto, and O'Reilly's have never even seen a hose like that before.

"On Turbo Models, bypass connections are installed to allow cold coolant flow to cool the turbocharger."
This is all that I've found. The part I found looks kinda like it.

For the record, this part has made me feel dumb since 5pm.

That looks right. I just don't remember seeing one on my turbo when I took it out a couple weekends ago, at least there wasn't anything behind the turbo and in front of the firewall except metal lines. closer to the passenger side there might have been something, but that hose at FCP looks right.

The OEM Part Number is 6842190. (same as the one linked before)
The dealership didn't have it on their diagrams and seemed pretty unhelpful.
Went to the oddball place in town that splits a building with a garage and the mechanic "just happened to have one laying around." He knew what it was the second I showed it to him. Apparently the last one he changed was a huge nightmare.
I think I just got really lucky this time.

yeah, that sounds pretty lucky right there. Dealerships don't know much when it comes to anything turbo related, even if it's on one of their own cars, at least that's how the volvo dealership is by me. I don't know how changing a hose can be a huge nightmare, especially back by the turbo, there's a fair amount of room back there.

Thanks for all the help though. I really appreciate it and will try to make more post in the future. Maybe I'll do the "Before/After" business with my wagon.

just replaced mine this week but i had the engine out... the diagrams do show the part but it doesnt look like it.. the picture of the part is off the turbo pic! and i highly recommend using a volvo replacement part since that does get especially hot and the hose has a reduction as well!!!!
