need help again....
ok, so my latest task for my 1995 850 GLT was replacing my heater core so i could have heat in the upcoming winter months. while i was in there i went ahead and replaced my ac evaporator as well ( i have a feeling it had a leak because over the summer it would blow cold but not hold a charge for more than a week or so) , and i sure as hell wasn't going to take my dash out again.
so after after getting it back together i have the following problems:
-my srs light in the dash is on (from my understanding no one knows how to reset that)
-under the dash of the drivers side there is a single red (what appears to be a power wire) that i can not figure out where it goes (very small plug) and it does not go to the brake which was my only guess
-i haven't gotten it put together completely but my blower is stuck on full blast and won't even cut out when the key is out of the ingnition, i am hoping that it is just because i haven't put everything back together and plugged everything back in.
it seems like at 16 i have become quite the mechanic[:@]
so if anyone has any input on any of those things that would be awsome, only good thing i can say is that i have heat again, heat at full blast, but heat none the less
thanks guys

RE: need help again....
well i got everything plugged in and put back together and i'm still stumped
i'm not getting power to the climate controll unit (besides the manual controll *****) the blower is still stuck on full blast, and my radio is getting no power
i'm under the impression this little red wire is to blame considering the radio and climate controll unit are ontop of each other
but i still can't find where it goes
thanks for the input tech, anyone else?

RE: need help again....
alright i got the radio to work again, and tech that would be a big help if you could gave that a look for me
all that is left it the red wire plug that i have no clue where it goes, the srs light ( i need to get it reset), and the blower is stuck on full blast
i read somewhere that the blower and srs light could somehow be linked, that when the airbags deploy the blower automatically goes on full blast to remove the airbag fumes from the cabbin
can anyone clarrify that?
or help me with anything?
thanks

RE: need help again....
I will try to do one day this weekend for you.
You can clear the SRS light yourself.
You know how to read codes right?
If not click link to learn how.
http://www.troublecodes.net/Volvo/
SRS is B5
I highly doubt that the SRS and blower motor is connected to each other.
You have a MCC system correct?
Did you have relays on the front of the Air box by the resistor?
Will the blower motor stop if you inplug the resistor?
Also read codes from the climate module which is port B1

RE: need help again....
yes i have the mcc system, and the blower still runs with the resistor unplugged
when i did the heater core and evaporator i actually replaced the resistor because before the job my blower would only run when the switch was on 4 (i tried switching back to the old resistor and the blower still stays on)
i'm going to try to reset the srs light
thanks for the input tech, i'm stumped
