Default New catback exhaust or get one custom made?

My '97 850 N/A wagon's exhaust is becoming louder and louder with time. I haven't got the chance to take it to the local muffler shop, but since I peeked under the car and I saw a weird looking ribbed muffler transversally mounted behind the gas tank, I was wondering if any muffler shop had anything like this muffler available as replacement for under $150-$200. On the other hand, I had spotted a Bosal OEM catback on that common auction site for under $200. Should I go custom on the local shop, or buy the Bosal catback ??? This car is the family hauler, so not looking to race anyone in the strip scene. Any input appreciated.

Thanks,

A muffler shop should be able to make you a cat back for cheaper than $200, Depending where you are of course.
