New Member 850 People Please Read (6-month old post)
I Wasn't sure if i should post here (since i'm new) or in the 850 Forum- Mods feel free to move me. Anyways, I am looking at a 1995 850 GLT Wagon tomorrow and was wondering if anybody here could give me some pointers on things to look at/ask. The actual owner is away but are there any pressing things that I should know that go wrong on these cars? Any help would be greatly appreciated. The woman is selling it for 700 bucks and it has 135k miles on it. I really hope that I become a proud Volvo owner tomorrow!
Thank in advance & cheers,
Lee

See when the timing belt was changed. If it hasn't been recently I would change it. Check transmission fluid for color and smell, oil the same. ABS module is prone to go out, but there are couple of places on the internet that fix them (BBS Remanufacturing). I would have a trusted mechanic check it out before buying.
