New member. Looking for a 95 Yellow T5-R wagon
Hello everyone. My name is Brandon. This is my first post on here but I have been a regular over on bimmerforums since 05.
I also had a 94 850 turbo wagon. Black on black with R wheels but sold it back in 05.
Currently have a 92 BMW E34 525/5 speed with a 98 528 M52 swap, M3 cams, Garret GT3076R and .63 A/R, Tial 38mm WG, Tial BOV, 3" turbo back with Borla XR1 muffler, TRM tune with 60 lb injectors, M3 flywheel, M3 stage I UUC clutch, Koni shocks, Vogtland springs, 6 piston Wilwood calipers up front, poly bushings, Euro trim, M5 seats, suede headliner, Acura TSX projectors etc etc etc
My BMW is my baby but now that it's making 343 RWHP, I feel I need a DD. I am a sucker for wagons and when I was in HS back in the 90's, the 850 R wagon was one of my favorite cars in the world.
I only want the yellow so obviously I only want the 95 T5-R wagon.
I have done lots of searching, and registered at all the volvo forums but this one seems to be the best.
If anyone has one and has even ever considered selling, please let me know. I was looking to buy one in January when I get my bonus but I could probably pull enough funds together if one came up immediately. Knowing that these are fairly rare, I figured I would post now.
I am in Richmond, VA and don't care where the car is located so long as it's in the states.
I am very mechanical and do all my own work including paint so as long as the car doesn't have rust and has a decent interior, I would possibly be interested.
Thanks for taking the time. Looking forward to getting to know some of you.

PaaaaHaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! A yellow T-5R wagon, LMBO! Man, we all do. I've wanted one so bad that I made it my Avitar.
Very nice Bimmer!!! Sweet, from the looks of it, you would be a deserving yellow wagon owner.
From what I have seen (have never seen a yellow wagon that I could remember), only one for sale per year and they are VERY RARE. Only 35 of them were sold in the USA, probably that many in the US at this time. (A few have been shipped in from Europe - probably military, and Canada).
Here is a link from Swede Speed that came up about a month ago. Seems that 4 were sold this year.

Hope you get one, and me to for that matter. I did find this black one that I picked up in May. From what I can tell, they are going extinct fast. Maybe only about 48 of the black ones left on the road.

Yeah I have read all about the rarity. There is at least one local to me. 4 a year isn't that bad. I don't mind waiting either. I am patient and particular
Thanks for the compliments on the BMW. I have worked hard at it. My best friend and I did the turbo setup ourselves. I also built this a few years ago but sold it last year... 1972 Datsun 510 with L20 bored and stroked out to 2.3L, twin mikuni 44's, Nismo header, 2000 roadster 5 speed, Troy Ermish coilovers and 14" panasports.
If I got the T5-R wagon, I would keep it mostly stock except for tasteful drop and 18" R wheels.

Rolling On The Floor!!!
ROTF!!! Man, it's a black T-5R wagon. My signature has a link to my photo album. I just dyed the front and rear bumpers so I need to take a few more pictures. I also painted some of my motor black when I did my PCV system so I may need to do a few pics of the engine compartment as well. Oh, man, I love you guys.

GOOD LUCK.
If I find a decent deal on one I will buy it and I've been saying that for years. But I'm not going to spend $15K for one. They are very hard to find. Heck the yellow sedan is hard to find. I am fairly certain I have the only one in the Columbus, OH area.
I might go for a good deal on a Red 850 R wagon if I find one then I know I will find a yellow wagon right after I buy it. That's what happened when I bought the white 850 R. Less than a year later I found the yellow one. Kept them both for years too. Sold the white one to my son in law when I got the BMW 330xi.
RVAE34, you do take some very nice pictures.

Thanks for the compliments on the photos everyone. That's one of my other expensive hobbies. I hope to get some great shots of a clean yellow wagon before too long I suppose I would settle on white or red but I will not do black again. I have tracked down a few owners and have given my info. Anyone else who has one and has ever even thought of selling for a moment, please let me know..
