Default New owner, need HELP!

Hey guys,
I recently bought a 1997 850- and love it. But all of a sudden I've run into an idle problem. I took it into the dealership and they said it was a pcv system problem- but that makes no sense to me. They couldn't actually see the problem happening, (I left it with them- but it didn't happen) so I think they are wrong. I wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar problem.

I turn on the car- and the engine can't seem to find an idle. It bounces from 600 to 1300 rpm. If I try and drive it, it does the same thing while I drive (it shoots all over the place). After about 5 mintues the engine warms up, but it continues. It usually goes away after 10 mintues of driving or so, and doesn't always happen. Any suggestions?
Engine has 199,000 km on it, no check engine light, and it has been well mainted and no other problems. THANKS!

I would try cleaning the throttle body and idle motor.
Might want to inspect the vent system as well.
