Gilber; didn't you just put Bilstein HDs on there in recent past? Did you not like them? Or am i thinking of someone else?

I haven't done the quarter mile yet. Once I get a tune I'll do some runs this summer.

Yeah, I put HDs with Kilen springs in this past spring. They're great struts, nice and firm and great handling. It's not that I don't like them, but a simple strut/spring combo can't get me as low as I would like to, which is why I got these Koni DIY coilovers.

How low are you wanting to go?

I might be. I'll let people know. I also might save them to throw on during the winter if I have to.

To the point where my fender liners are completely hacked up, or just gone in general. lol. These are the coils off of Matt's car on VS, the one that just went to bags, so as low, if not lower, than his car was before.

I know the hood was open. Just getting in a little good natured ribbing. Seriously, that is one fine looking 850.

lol. I couldn't tell if you were joking or not, I figured you had to have been. But I thought, just in case.

And thank you for the kind words. Going home tomorrow to get started on everything. Will probably roll the fenders tomorrow night and start taking out all of the suspension and what not. Keep everyone posted.

I will post more and better pictures when I upload them from my camera, these are just cell pics. Cutting the rear springs tomorrow. Installed the sway bars too, the car officially feels like it is on rails. Extremely stiff and planted ride.

Where it sits right now. Will be going lower. Just ordered IPD rear springs since they have more dead coils than the ones on there and will allow for more cutting and moar dropping.

Yup, we had a small Midwest Install meet. I did the coilovers/swaybars, one guy did a new cbv and brakes, one did side markers and roof rails on the 855, and a PCV on another. Busy day.
