Default No boost from turbo

Ok, so I was having a problem with my 850 falling on its face under hard acceleration, I took it to have the codes read and it came up with a problem with the wastegate. I pulled the turbo, and checked the wastegate, and it seemed fine, after replacing the turbo I changed the fuel filter. That fixed a lot of the lack of power. The turbo doesn't spool up and I don't feel the neck snapping power I used to. What could be the problem?

Do you have an aftermarket boost gauge?
Are you sure you connected the vacuum lines correctly?

I don't have an aftermarket boost gauge yet, that's later on down the road, apparently when I pulled the turbo, the wastegate hose became disconnected, and the hose on the bottom of the turbo became disconnected, they are just hanging, they are connected to the turbo, but not on the other end? Where do they go?

I have the vacuum lines hooked back up right, thanks gilber, now it's hard starting when hot, still no boost, could this be a timing issue?
