Hi there,

I got a R when I tried to get my inspection sticker because apparently my back up lights are not working. All other lights are working. I did try to replace both bulbs (one was totally fried) but neither are working.

I have seen a lot of people suggest the PNP switch. I am not getting the arrow flashing up and don't seem to have any trouble shifting. I did try the trick of shifting through the gears 10-15 times which several people said can sometimes 'clean' it but no luck. Could it still be the PNP without those other issues or does anyone have other suggestions as to what the problem could be?

Since it is a red R sticker, I am not supposed to drive until it is fixed. Thanks so much for any help or information.

 

I just got done wrestling with a lighting problem. First thing I would do is check for voltage at the sockets. If you have it or dont that`ll tell you a lot.
