Here you go...any ideas as to what this leak is?


I read all the
posts but did not see what I was lookin for...any ideas?

NEVERMIND...I am an idiot...the leak is because my son didn't put the 2 end bolts in the valve cover...oil was pouring from them...so now I move on to the cosmetic stuff...the drip rails and the seats...Good God this has been fun...

I hope the oil did not contaminate the timing belt. If it did, I would replace the belt asap.

Course it contaminated the belt although it was a...brand new belt too. I cleaned it everywhere. I didn't want to spend the cash on another new belt...wish me luck!

 

If it was a very short time and you cleaned it really well you should be fine.

 

And I only use synthetic oil, which doesn't have the same impact on rubber stuff as a natural oil...plus cleanin it up so well...I do believe I'll be ok...
