Not a great day!
Ok, so I burst a tyre in a hole and dented the rim this morning, this was on my way to buy plugs and wires because my running was a little rough.
Got the donut out, joy, it was flat. Towed to my local tyre centre and ended up buying 2 tyres, but had the good condition rears moved to the front and the fronts with new tyres to the back, this because of the small dent in the rim being better off at the rear. (I'll grab a rim in due course but you can't notice it).
During this, it became apparent that the rubber boot on the front axle has split and is sending grease everywhere.
Left tyre place, found huge vibration and while concentraing on that, and testing different speeds, I found myself caught speeding, $200 later, on my way back to get the front rebalanced.
At this point, it now becomes apparent, that I need a ball joint, and outer tie rod.
So,
Any ideas on cost for...
Front boot replacement
Outer Tierod
Lower Ball joint
And anything I should know about replacing the plugs and wires?
I should have stayed in bed.

Search good online.
You will need the Lower control arm to replace the balljoint. They are part of the Arm.
I would buy a rebuilt Axle will cost almost the same as having it rebuilt.
Outer tie rod isn't all that bad but an alignment is needed afterwords.
The plugs and wires are pretty easy and straight foward. Make sure you install them in the proper spot on the Dist cap.

Thanks Tech!!
I'll shop around a bit I guess and I'll fit the wires and plugs tomorrow, I'm not near the car right now, but I asked the plugs/wires question only because from memory, and it could be wrong (I've spent a wee bit too much time staring at a Saab engine of late) that it looked as if some kind of hose or similard had to be moved to gain access to the plugs, or the panel they are under anyway.
No doubt all will become clear when I open the hood :-)
Thanks again.
