Now I am making too much boost...
Hitting fuel cut when I get on it hard, just during spike. After it levels off I dont hit fuel cut anymore. I double checked every visible vac line & they are all good. What else could it be?
I was making 5 psi, I fixed the inlet hose that was leaking, now I am making too much. I cant win....

I had a feeling that might be it, I will check this afternoon.
Another possibility is the vac hose fron the turbo outlet. The spring loaded clamp is on the hose about 3-4 inches up from the nipple it attaches to on the turbo itself. I had slid it up too far & it was dark & like 15 degrees when I waqs replacing it, so I just used a zip tie. Is it possible that line might be crimped & sending incorrect pressure info to the solenoid? Or no? I dont think it could be that crimped, but if its possible I will check it.

Hoses are in correct order & every visible hose is brand new..... Plus occasionally evrything is fine after driving a while, but sometimes it will be like that all day...
What could this be? Its annoying..

Figured it was a bad BCS, so I put in a MBC. Even on the lowest setting its still too much boost. I am thinking it might be the wastegate actuator rod. It may have been adjusted by previous owner. The car did have a slight boost leak and he may have done that to compensate. I have heard of that as a 'mod' but dont know much about it. The excess boost has occurred since I fixed the boost leak.
So now I am attempting that. Is the whole rod supposed to turn? Or just the piece on the threaded end? My whole thing is turning. I have some WD40 soaking in it now so I can just turn the end. But is it bad the whole thing turns?

Just adjusted it. I made it a bit longer and have it so it pretty much lines up with the rod for the wastegate with just a slight pull. It required a little pull before I adjusted. I would say the rod covered half the hole. Much better now. Only did an around the blocks run, but it seems good. Definitely a little less boost. I may adjust a tiny bit more, boosting low, then use the MBC to bring back up & improve spool. Plus the MBC is easier to adjust down the line than the wastegate rod.
But so far so good. Will post later after highway run.
