Default Which O2 Sensor do I need?

Hey guys, been a while, everything was great till this last weekend and we had a ton of snow and rain. I went thru a very deep LAKE and now I'm getting P0141. (P0141 Generic O2 Heater Circuit (Bank 1, Sensor 2) ). First question I have is which sensor is Bank 1 Sensor 2, the one up front or back by the convertor? Second, can going under water cause this problem(it stalled badly and then started after a while.

Just as a note: the code will not appear till I sit Idle for at least 10min or more. I then clear the code and can drive for hrs with no code until I sit and idle for 10min.

Ive read that diff manufactures of these sensors may not be good for the 850 (picky car). anyone have a suggestion on bosch or others?

Thanks in advance.

The rear sensor. Running through enough water to submerge the sensor can definitley short out the heating element. You might try cleaning the connector and clearing the codes before buying one.

I used the universal Bosch o2 for $80 from Autozone when I replaced my front sensor and it works just fine. Just be sure to solder the wires together when you splice in your old connector. Don't use the crappy coupler that comes with the sensor.

Your best bet is to buy Bosch "OE Type - Exact Fit".
Find your O2 sensor info from http://www.boschautoparts.com/Vehicl...artFinder.aspx
Note: Some info from Bosch site could be wrong so cross reference from Ipd or www.eeuroparts.com to make sure the bosch p/n.

You will find these a lot cheaper at amazon.com.
