aftermarket O2 sensors work, the sensor doesn't cause a code because it's not OEM, it's just how well they work that you get a CEL. Have you looked up the code?

Maybe you have a poor connection. Could possibly be a clogged cat that is just ruining the O2 sesnor.

You're going to have to trouble shoot it. The code is telling you the heater portion of the rear O2 sensor is open. If the open is not in the sensor, then it's likely in the harness somewhere between the ECM and the sensor.

Get your DVOM out and get to work...

I read on another thread that you have to disconnect the battery for about 10 minutes after you replace the O2 sensor so the ECU can re calibrate it's stored data.

Make sure all your vacuum hoses are in good shape. I fought the same thing for a while until I found crumbly vacuum hoses that I'm sure were leaking. I disconnected the battery for a few minutes after each fix.

I had a bad rear O2 sensor. It gave me a CEL code P0137 I believe. Here are photo instructions showing how I replaced mine: http://www.atthetipwebs.com/technolo..._O2_sensor.htm
