Folks,

I just pulled the following code from my OBD, after I got a CEL and a flashing shift arrow (which has now stopped) P0705 I have found this to be a Transmission Range Sensor Circuit malfunction (PRNDL Input) Now...can someone tell me what this means and how to fix it? Alternatively, if its not a DIY kinda thing, a ballpark on what it might cost? Thanks in advance.............

 

Most likely the PNP switch is bad.

It isn't all that bad to replace.
