oddometer and srs light
Sure, it normally won't trigger an SRS fault anyway but if you are worried about it disconnect the battery and then wait about 10 minutes before you start disconnecting things. You will need your radio code.

You do not need to take the radio out to enter the code, you simply use the station preset buttons (1 to 6) to enter the code when it prompts code on the screen - it will take a couple of seconds to verify the code and then it will come on again if the code is correct. If the code does not takeafter the second attempt stop trying. After the third try it will go from code to lock and it is a PITA to get it unlocked again.
If you ever do need to remove the radio it is very easy, there are rectangular detents in the face of the radio next to the bass control and preset number 6. Use the key to press those in and they should pop out of the face of the radio. If you pull them out a bit more they become convenient grab handles and you simply pullthe radio out of the dash.

At the top of the topics list for this forum there is a link to helpful repair topics. The odometer gear replacement is in there. It is good info and really helped me out when I had to do the job.
