OEM Strut brace?
Does anyone have one?
I just picked one up from the dealer today and when I got home I noticed that has two rectangular indents on either side that don't look to healthy. I'm thinking it's damage but wanted to know if other people had the brace and noticed these marks. There is an identical mark on the other end of the cross member.
This is the mark, I didn't put the ends on the crossbar yet that's why it doesn't look like a strut brace.
I don't want to put this in and then have the part suffer a fatigue failure from the increased stresses around the indent if it wasn't designed as such.
