As my first post, I figure i'd show off a bit. I don't know much about the real mechanics, but I'm decently good with interior setup. Sony, Single DIN aftermarket stereo, LED lit subs, interior speakers and dome lights, rear dome lights and step lights coming soon Subs are 2 12" Dual's powered by 1000 watt RMS amp. Sorry if the desc. is a bit lengthy. Hope y'all enjoy!

Hi Evan, sweet. You need some "Showroom New" or "Forever Black" on those bumpers.

yes i know, but as of right now, because of financial problems, its standing still for a few years. in the meantime it will get a full rebuild / restoration, it already has his 3rd engine, 3rd gearbox, 2nd full set of doors, 2nd coat of paint, 2nd shifterknob, 3rd set of headlights, this particulair engine has it 2nd timing belt assembly and second tappets. now just before we stopped it, it leaked oil at the crankshaft bearing seam. so long story short, before i do all the details like darkening the bumpers, i want the technics to be perfect. i do all the repairs myself.

Thx man. It will get the complete body restoration in 2 weeks or so and then the interior. Hahaha i made the guy spray another skirting to make sure the color will be perfect. I will post pics when the car is done. I dont know how that color ended up in South Africa cause i can find no other one with it. The few that i know of is red or black. White seem to be non existant as well.

Default My $1300 T5

I bought it almost a year ago, and have done little to it other than service etc. I'm replacing the brakes with 302mm V70 units, same with front struts. I have already done the rear tail lights, headlining and other minor touches. The subwoofer was installed in the spare wheel well, just by removing a seat squab. I use it as a 2 seater anyway most days, and 5 is plenty when I need them.

The V70 donor car was one I previously owned, sold, and took back after the new owner cooked it on the highway.

Incidentally mods, how hard would it be to adjust photo size limits to something other than 0.1Mb? These shots look blardy awful! After all, it's not 2003 any more.

Default My New 1994 850 Turbo Wagon

I don't call it a wagon; it's more than that. It like a super Swedish SUV. The body style of the newer ones don't do it for me. To roundy, and the rigidity is hard to find. Anyway it's a two owner, even have all of the valet keys, has the fog lights, heated seats etc.

Fantastic! One guy working with me own a red 850R just like yours. Yours is beautiful as is his. Was drooling over it this morning. Another guy nagging me to buy his 855R wagon. Damn im out of parking space. The temptation is too much.

While i am on here i need to tell u guys this. Seriously Volvo for life. My 850R nr 3 and 5 cylinder not working. This car can still start and drive. I seriously do not see many makes of autos can do this. I am just deciding if i am going to repair or replace the engine. The exact damage at this point is unknown. I plan to keep this car forever so I probs will just get the new engine and at some point have the current one rebuilded for a spare.

Any thoughts would be welcome.
