oil backing up thru oil cap

I have a 1995 volvo 850 and oil is coming thru the oil cap. I bought a new oil cap and it is still leaking. Can anyone tell me why ?

Excessive crank case pressure can cause oil to get pushed out. With the engine idling, pull the dipstick out and see if smoke comes out.

How many miles on the car? Has the PCV system ever been replaced?
