Default Oil leak front of motor

I have an 850 Turbo with 165k, overall its been a good car. I noticed lately that its leaking oil in the front of the motor. It's not a real serious leak not even drops on the driveway. Just wetting the front of the oil on the left side of the motor. I took the timing cover off and its not a cam seal. Any ideas?

"Just wetting the front of the oil on the left side of the motor" Don't quite understand that statement. Can you post a pic? You'll have to clean the motor off and track it down.

roll the car up on to ramps pull your air damn off and look on the passenger side of the engine right about the oil pan towards the wheel bet its an oil cooler line.

If it the front of the motor (front of the car) my bet is the dip stick o-ring, or Lower pcv hose to the block.

If its the left side of the motor, could be anything from a crank seal, oil pump, seeping valve cover, oil cooler, to a loose oil filter..

Default Oil leak front of motor

Turned out to be the power streeing pump was leaking from where the line clamps onto the bottom of the reseviour. The fluid was dribbling down the power steering hose and running onto the oil cooler hose and dribbling down on to the motor. Looks like an ez fix. Just cut a little hose off and clamp it on to the outlet
