OIL LEAK UNDER OIL CAP
Hi i have a non turbo 1994 850 that is leaking oil from underneath the oil cap. I cannot afford repairs
right now and need some idea of why this is happening, in the past i have asked and through your instruction
my husband has been able to make repairs, so if possible if you know what this is, can you give instruction on how to repair and also and illustrations if available.
Thanks in advance Help Me, help me!!!!!!!

RE: OIL LEAK UNDER OIL CAP
Sorry no pics.
But here is where he should start. Look in the hose that goes from the Air filter box to the engine. There is a funny looking Elbow type thing that goes into the hose. He will have to remove the hose and turn the peice to get it out. Make sure the white insert isn't clogged. Also check the hoses from it to the engine for cloggage. If he cleans them all out and it still does it chances are the Vent box is clogged.
