Oil separator

Does anyone know what the oil separator does and how it functions? I'm wondering if it is the reason I seem to see a lot of oil in the throttle body. Could the oil stem from oil separator, flame trap etc problems?

Is the car Turbo or Non-turbo?

You will always see a little bit of oil but if you see alot of oil then it might be clogged.

It's a non turbo. It seems like more than a little. Can it be cleaned/unplugged or does it have to be replaced.

Inspect the Screen in the intake hose by the throttle body. Also check all the hoses.

If the vent box is clogged you will need to replace it.
