Default which one is correct

http://www.eeuroparts.com/Main/Diagr...bfc2db0b7d.gif

or

http://www.fcpgroton.com/product-exe...category_id/63

the line hook ups are different but same product lets get 1 diagram and make it the right one - diag.#1 shows line 15 going to top of engine coming from front connect line on top of pcv ---diagram#2 shows it mounted at the connection nearest the block --this is now confusing-
TECH - if you see this can you please clarify whos right please- this is why i get mad - two companies - 2 different diagrams - its 2 sets of rules for the same game
come on FCP an EEUROPARTS lets find out whos got the right one for the big prize!!!! (does parts geek show it coming out of the bottom)lol
sorry but if it seems like im pissed- its coz I AM!!
ive got a car im working very hard on --and i !! DO NOT NEED INCORRECT INFORMATION!!---DONT MAKE ME BREAK OUT MY HAYNES BOOK ---oh wait --- its pathetic never mind
please forgive the rant but this is not a game to me - this is all ive got, this is my baby- and i dont have money to throw around on diagramaticly incorrect caused parts failure repair or replacement
thank you

buy the one from FCP, it has everything you need except hose 17, which if you are under a budget, you can clean the one you have.

here is a screw, by screw walkthru for the labour. I found it fantastic..

If you really look closely they are both correct. The port closest to the accessories is where the hose connects to the top of the motor. The one on the right the hose goes around to the induction hose just before the turbo.

look at the images please tech the one from eeuro is showing the back of the pcv and the upper lines are reversed from fcp grotons image the line to the top of the engine on one ppic shows different from the other -- see what i mean now??- they arent the same way hose # 15 on 1 is hose #4 on the other and the mount them in 2 different positions - i know it matters coz the inside of the pcv is set up specifically to take input and the other is for output - but which way is correct

When I get home I will see if I have the picture of mine (actually on the car) before I took it apart. If I have it I will post it for you.

They are both correct, theirs is just shot from a different angle.

SORRY FCP but you are wrong-if you look at the pics again one is reversed and shown from engine side - do me a favor look at the hoses side by side they ARE in different places - one shows hose going from front connector on pcv to the top of engine and the other shows from connector closest to engine to the top - so are you saying it doesnt matter which of the top ports you connect to on the pcv and run to top of the engine??

It shouldn't matter which hole on the top goes to the top of the motor and which goes to the intake. From what I remember there isn't a check ball or any other type of air directing devises inside the oil trap. The hole on the bottom drains fluid into the pan, the port on the side sucks gases out of the block, one on the top will suck gases out of the head, the other hole on top is the one providing the suction. If your worried, when your new oil trap arrives apply manual suction to the holes on top, which ever has the best airflow goes to the intake.

But it is still like I said if you look closely they are routed the same. Think of it this way the hose that goes to the top of the motor will be on your left when you are looking at it from the front of the car. Yes the diagrams are opposite but if you look at FCP'S the one that goes to the top is on the left and it is like it would mount on the motor. Europarts is on the right in the pic but when you mount it to the motor it will be on the left.
