Default This one has me stumped boys.....

Hey guys, I am reasonably mechanically inclined but this one has me scratching my head.............

1997 850AWD Turbo 5 speed, upgraded high output turbo and reprogramed ECM, car runs well, when I start the car the service engine light comes on, stays on for 1 or 2 minutes and goes out, car runs fine, plugged in code reader, no codes.....

Any ideas? Thanks.

Just follow IPDs video. It's pretty simple. It's too bad that you have to have a reset tool for your year model. Just find your nearest Volvo dealer and see if they will do it.

taking out the instrument cluster and removing the service reminder bulb from the back also solves this problem nicely.

Removing the bulb IS the solution.
