one problem to another
earlier I posted that I was changing my power steering pump, which after taking it out ended up being my altenator. So I bring back power steering pump and buy an altenator, I install the altenator an now a blower fan is on and wont shut off, I have to disconnect battery to get it to turn off.Did I damage something? The only electrical I did was with the altenator. Also now when I start it , sometimes it sounds like the starter is not engaging, it'll start to crank then goes into what sounds like a silent spinning on the starter. The haynes tells me where to disconnect it, but damned if I can even find it lol. Where is the starter located. ITs a 97 850 sedan t5. Thanks in advance.

ok altenator is good, the electrical gromet thing that plugs into the blower one of the prongs were pushed down and it wasnt connecting, so fan now stops when it should after re connecting. Changed the starter with a new one now that is good, had to take a bunch of stuff off to get to starter bolts, not an easy task but presistent paid off
