Daughter and son in law just bought a 95 850 Turbo wagon. It's burgundy with grey interior and needs some work but it's in very good condition as far as paint and interior. It needed tires which have been done and it needs an evaporator, which Nick has ordered. He's a mechanic that's going to learn about Volvo's. Wants me to help him do the evaporator, so when my next one goes at least we will know what to do.

I sold their Acura for $4200, so we were loooking for something in that price range. We went from Columbus, Oh to Washington DC area and look at several cars that appeared to be in good shape for that price. We looked at five of them and none were worth buying. So we upped the price to around $5,000 and went to look at one in Indiana for $5,900 that was red with grey interior. It looked nice, but need all kind of work. It was a 97 and we would have given him $4500 at the most. Didn't get it. Ended up getting this one here in Columbus for $3,000 and he has alread put $1,000 more into it for tires, timing belt stuff, tune up stuff and the evaporator along with othe rmiscellaneous items it needed.

Now we have seven Volvo's in the family.

When you do the evap, is there any chance that you could take pics, and possibly get some pictures to accompany Tech's tutorial? If it's too much work, not a huge deal, the tutorial is pretty thorough.
