Default P0171 Code, possibly low boost, Help?

Hi guys, I've got a 96 850 turbo that's recently lost most of its oomph, and now it's throwing a p0171 code, I removed and cleaned the MAF, and inspected the filter, but as soon as I hooked up the battery and turned it back on, the code was back immediately. Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

When I had that code I had a vacuum line loose. Check vacuum lines and intake tubes for holes or being loose.

Any Idea of exactly where I should begin, also do you perchance have a diagram?

Lol, look everywhere. There is a diagram under the hood. The only reason you should need one is if you have some pulled apart.

See if the attachment helps. Also, there is a plastic "Tee" fitting that is known to deteriorate over time on which 3~4 vacuum hoses are attached to.

Hope these help. Some people have problems with the elbows coming loose or cracking as they age. JPN's diagram of the fuel pressure regulator is one place a lot of people miss as you can't see it very well without bending your neck and using a mirror and flashlight as it's under the intake manifold.
