Passenger door won't open.
Ok today out of the blue, my wife tries to get out of the car and....nothing. Remote locks work auto lock works but I can't open the door from the inside, out side is fine. Does this mean after 7 years of marriage I have to open her door every time as if we were dating again? (kidding) Where do I start?
Are you talking front door or rear? If its the rear, open the door from the outside - there's a metal switch on the door above the latch (ie in the jamb) that's the child safety lock. If the problem is the front, you probably have an actuator rod from the inside handle that has come off and you'd need to remove the door card to check it out and fix.

Yes it was the front door. I did pull the door panel off and found the metal arm that connects the door handle release to the door latch. It was secured with a plastic grommet bushing that was now crumbled apart. I drilled 3 small holes on the lower metal door latch end around the hole and replaced the arm and wired it in. There is not any movement where it is wired so fatigue wont be an issue. It simply wont pop back out...Thanks
