Default peely

x- mine was peeling (not nearly as bad as that), I removed the cover, glued the cover back together and re installed it.

Unhook battery, unhook airbag, take dash top off, take airbag out, take airbag cover off. I used gorrilla glue to stick the cover down, but the repair looks kinda sloppy. I found a correct color airbag top cover at my local u pull it yard, bought it for $4. It needs only minor gluing, gonna replace it soon. I never found a source for a new top cover. Dave

mines go the same issue.
I was thinking gorilla glue, but I was just gonna put the glue where needed and then use some books to hold it down while glue dries. I wasnt gonna remove the dash ect.

Default top cover

I thought if I didnt take the cover off I'd end up spoogin glue all over the dash. And that gorrilla glue foams you know, a little goes a long way, dont over do it! Taking the dash top off isnt really a big deal plus you can change any burned out instrument cluster bulbs (I had three) D

Keep in mind that we are in south west texas, so the heat does a number. But what is funny is that the passenger side airbag cover is the ONLY damage done to the dash. All other cars I have owned have had cracked dashes by now.

okay.. so am I to assume that all of you "gorilla gluers" out there place the glue on the outer part of the dash?

I am sure that the foaming action of GG didn't look that pretty.

Where are the instructions for removing the top of the dash?
