ok so, im thinking about getting the matte black pegasus replica wheels for my blue 850 turbo, the problem is i havent seen what it looks like and i dont want to buy them unless i see them. does any one have pictures of them i need to see them

Whether or not other folks they look good does not matter. Whether or not YOU think they look good is what's important. If you like them, then go with them. Heck, I have stock wheels on my car right now that are painted black. I like them.

On that note, i MAY be getting a smokin deal on some 3 piece OZ superleggera III wheels. these list at $850 each through tire rack, but I may be getting a set of 4 for between $400 and $600. It's good to know folks at Tire Rack...

 

If you are concerned about the look you can have someone photo shop them for you. The main concern imo is the fit and tire size. Have you ever dealt with low profile tires??????? ??? ??? That can suck if you can't afford tire replacement often.

 

They can also suck if you live in an area where there are lots of potholes. Good point, RSPI, i didnt think to mention that.

 

Personally I don't like black wheels at all. I like the anthracite wheels the best. Just my opinion.

Most older guys remember when we used to take our hubcaps off and paint our wheels black. Sometime we wold put baby moon hubcaps on them. We were cool.

Probably where my dislike for black wheels comes from though.

 

I like the black wheels. The true anthracite from the Volans and Titans (not the Titanium Pegs) is probably one of the best colors of OEM wheels there ever was.

When some extra money becomes avilable, I'm gonna paint my Ti Pegs on my 850R anthracite.

 

My son painted his 17" Pegs the anthracite color on his white 98 S70 T5M. Looks great too. He doesn't post here, but you can probably find a picture of his on volvospeed. He also has a silver 98 V70 R.

 

I'll have to look it up! What's his handle on VS?

 

I don't know and and can not get on vovlospeed here at work. I think it's JustinV70, but not sure.
