Has anyone bought or seen these wheels from Discount Tire Direct:

They look nice and are cheap enough, but are they *too* cheap is the question!?

I was looking at a set of 4 with Hankook K104 tyres mounted on them for a 1998 T5 auto, then I can mount winter tyres on the stock T5 alloys that came with the car which are a little dinged.

If people say or think they are rubbish, I'll keep the stock alloys, order the Hankooks alone and just get winter tyres on some new steel rims.

Wheel looks pretty good. I couldn't find the other wheel you said you found on fleabay. Do you know the manufactuer of the discount direct wheel? That would help in determining quality of the product.

 

The fleabay ones are the same wheels, Discount Direct have a store on there too it seems. The set of 4 is on sale at present with 5% off. The information on their webpage suggests they are an own brand wheel, but offers no info on where they are sourced from and I doubt Discount Direct make them in the back room!

I'm sorely tempted...
