Was the 70 rear bumper a straight swap/fit or did you have to customize?

Do you have details of the rear swap and the years of V70's that will work? Thanks for any info, I need a new rear bumper and having a hard time finding an 850 donor....

Default bumper

On the 850, there is a bolt holding each side in (10 mm) plus the rivets on the wheel well, as well as the main two brackets that hold the bumper on. On the V70 there is a slide on plastic piece. I simply used large screws to hold it to the wheel well plastic, and it works great, it doesn't vibrate or move. (plus the two large brackets and bolts in the aluminum part of the bumper of course, they fit perfect. 98-00 will work, my parts are from a 99. I do have an extra 850 bumper, if you wanna come get it! lol

Thanks for the offer, depending on where you are located I think it might not be cost effective...?

I will check the local wreckers for a suitable V70 bumper, thanks again for the info.

Grab the V70 door handles too. They look way better on the 850
