Hey All,

Well, I think I am getting by the Volvo bug, my Jeep Grand Cherokee needs X Y and Z all of the time, so its time for something different, something actually engineered and not thrown together. I found a nice 1995 Volvo 850 GLT Turbo, it has 170k on the clock, the service history is there. The negative side is that its had a very small bump, new head light is required and the front bumper. My question is this, I noticed on good old eBay a bunch of guys selling a "Bumper Cover". I am assuming at the price, this just a cover which places over the original bumper? Also, if I want to replace the whole bumper, apart from the bone yard, anywhere good (cheap) online for Volvo spares?

theres cheap ones on ebay. i replaced my body parts by searching online boneyards for one that was the same color. cuts the price of repair down to about 1/4...especially if you D.I.Y.

not sure if you meant the rubber part, but the painted parts are the killer if you have to have them painted. much better off finding one in the same color if you're trying to save loot.

 

A 95 GLT is NOT a turbo. The low pressure turbo was not put into the GLT until 1997.
