Pictures Of My New 97 850 R
Smaller pictures I hope. Notice how it goes so well with the Burgundy wagon.

Wow those pictures look really different than when I was looking at them with Microsoft Office Picture Manager. They look better here. Yes it does look good in white. I have always really liked white Volvos. My first one was a white 760 with Burgundy leather interior. This is my 4th white car. They are easy to keep clean. They only look dirty when they are really dirty.
Absolutely. A coworker of mine is selling me his absolutely flawless 96 BMW M3 w. 100k next year. It's white and looks amazing. i want to build a white datsun 510 too. I am glad you got the R. I am sure the brake problem is nothing major.
Car looks awesome!
Knight Rider.....I have an E36 in black. I believe the M3's have a reienforment plate on the rear sub frame that the 328s and 325s do not. I had to add this to mine around 150k miles.
After seeing the 850R in white...it makes me wish my car was white. I have to wash it every 3 days to keep it clean!
My girlfriend wants a '95 850 T5R in yellow now.....I guess it could be worse.

Re: E-36 sub frame......................they need reinforcement in the M-3!!! The E-36 suspension was the worse three series made. You will note that the subsequent E-46 was entirely different. BMW nailed the performance in the E-36 and the suspension just did not make it. The good news is that BMP and a plethora of aftermarket suppliers can update the old E-36 to a better standard. In addition to the sub frame, the engine had some serious head issues also. My advice is to add a few dollars to your budget and obtain a E-46 M-3.
Wish I could afford one. I really want my coworkers. It looks like brand new. My tech says he thinks the 95-97 is the best and most reliable M3 ever. The newer ones have too many electrical problems. I actually like the style of the older one better. One of my friends just got a brand new Laguna blue M3 with the competition package. What a damn Jerk!!!!!! Of coarse his pops is the pres. of american Tire Distributors. The only thing that would sway me from the M3 is if I can find the right 89-92 Nissan Skyline GTR in grey. I would spend the extra dough on that.
Knight rider..............join the BMW CCA right away. You can get the address on the computer. I have been a member for over 25 years. With your subscription you will find all the after market tuners and suppliers who can make an E-36 M-3 into a great machine. What it will take is money as there is no such thing as an inexpensive BMW part whether it is BMW or aftermarket. If you drove a new M-3 you would be using 0-60 oil. It is only available from BMW and is appx $20.00 per quart! My first auto in 1960 was a BMW and I have had one ever since. Currently I have a Hartge H-3 with one of five engines built by BMW. I have invested over $200,000.00 in it...................supposedly it is the only one in the U.S.. My sister has diplomatic status and was able to get the auto in the U.S. for me. You will find that your BMW is the true "Ultimate Driving Machine". Enjoy.
