Default PnP Calibration?

What is the procedure for calibrating the new PnP? I noticed there is some room to rotate the PnP a few degrees (with loosen bolts) when I took the old one off my '97 850 GLT. I can only assume if not calibrated correctly my blinking arrow curse would just continue or would there be a different problem?

Thanks in advance!

Default RE: PnP Calibration?

You actually need a special tool to set it up. But I have seen many people set it up without it.
You have to have it in Neutral and have the shaft lined up with the line on the new PNP.
The tool slides over the shaft and sits on the new PNP with a groove cut in the middle that lines up with the line on the PNP.
