Is it possible to clean a dash dimmer switch for a '95 850?
Hi, my dash light dimmer slider is going out. It only works in one spot about 3/4 full brightness. Is there any way to "clean" the contacts like you could with old radio pots? Could I spray in brake cleaner fluid and flush the crud out or just replace it?

You can dissassemble the switch and try to clean it...although I wouldn't take brake cleaner as it is a very agressive stuff.
Take out the tail foglight switch first than the dimmer.
I would try WD 40 and afltewards contact spray. However I think it's better to just replace it...For the amount you are going to spend on a good used one I think it ain't worth the trouble
Cheers
